ADBARINA ARIA – Born 11/11/1990 a Pure Crabbet

[Chip Chase Kaiwanna (Silver Spot x Kai) x Fenwick Ramara (Silver Spot x Renura)  

We purchased Aria from Trevor Jacobson [Elphyn Stud in Tasmania] in June of 2005 following the Tasmanian Quilty. She had a lovely filly at foot by Inshallah Silver Echo [Elphyn Jehan].

Aria has produced a lovely bay filly by Elphyn Comet after his visit to the mainland on lease to Kintamani in 2005.

“Kintamani Stellarbration” was born Nov 2006 a beautiful typey predominantly Crabbet filly.

Aria is presently in foal to our predominantly Crabbet stallion Oakeleigh Park Silver Shadow [Poldark x Elusive (Aethon)] due early August 2008.

Aria was shown in hand as a youngster by Jo McMah for 1^st in both the El Cadore A Class show and Luddenham A class in 1998 as well as 2^nd and Reserve Champion Led at the Crabbet Arabian Show. 

At same show Under saddle she was first Novice ridden mare/filly.

Aria’s sire Chip Chase Kaiwanna stands at Boomori Park SA, a very tall, elegant pure Crabbet stallion a half brother to Akhu.  Kaiwanna is a Supreme Champion led and successful under saddle to Royal Show level.

DUO PARK FLAMUR – Born 10/10/1989

DUO PARK FLAMUR – Born 10/10/1989 A Grey 15.2hh predominantly Crabbet mare bred by Gem Marshall and previously owned by Louise McCormack. Flamur was set for an endurance career before a nasty accident left her unable to compete.  Her breeding is just what we were looking for with several crosses to Crystal Fire and Somerled/Spindrift lines on her sire’s side.

Flamur has been our best producing mare to date, with 7 high quality foals:

•     Kintamani Nidir [grey gelding by Luminous Night] – owned by Castlebar Endurance. Alan completed his 3 Novice rides with 2 placing's before his purchase by Meg Wade after his 3^rd at Tonimbuk in 2005. Following a severe leg injury he has placed several times in Victoria culminating in a win just prior to the EI outbreak.

•     Kintamani Silver Flame [Chestnut mare by OP Silver Shadow] retained by Kintamani.  A very competitive ride with an exceptional heart and movement. This mare is in work and will be out on the trails in 2008 after working up to a successful trainer at Coolamon (38 at finish of 45kms) and on her way to the Shahzada 80’s prior to EI.

•     Kintamani Silver Harmony [Grey full sister to above] owned by Dianne Luker has already successfully completed her first 3 novice rides in good times and pulses.

•     Kintamani Silver Eclipse [Grey full brother to above] owned by Louise McCormack, 15.2hh and in light work for the 2008 season.

•     Kintamani Silver Scenario [Grey full brother to above] retained by Kintamani as a Colt and has served his first mare this season.  Scenario broke in beautifully and went on to compete in his first social ride as a 4yo just prior to EI.

•     Kintamani Silver Diva [Grey full sister to above] retained by Kintamani and will be a very talented endurance horse as she has the athleticism, attitude and calmness to achieve.

•  Kintamani Shakil Chestnut [by Elphyn Comet] a very tall athletic gelding, with the sweetest nature.

REVELWOOD LARA – 26/01/1992

Owned/bred by Dody Sinfield of Revelwood Arabians and leased by Kintamani. We leased this well performed endurance mare from Dody in 2005 with the hope of breeding her to Elphyn Comet, however the colt foal from this pairing died the day after foaling. Fortunately for us she produced a beautiful ‘Halloween’ liver chestnut filly in 2007, nicknamed “Pumpkin” a stunner by our OP Silver Shadow. Lara is going back in foal to him as a return for Dody.

Dody competed several years on Lara with great success in the Lightweight division, with many placing's and wins.

Lara is out of Jindalee Shahmara, the dam of Duncan McLaughlan’s great endurance gelding ‘Tom’ or Revelwood Shahja.

KINTAMANI CHARISMA – Born 19/11/1993

Born 19/11/1993 Bay 15hh Pure Arabian

We have had the pleasure of owning ‘Riz’ twice as we bred her, sold her on as broken 2yo to Mat Thuaux who’s partner Petrina Besedic campaigned her for 1060kms in the Lightweight Division with many placing's.

We bought Riz back in 2006 and Erika placed 2^nd Jnr in her first outing with her at Stanley 80kms; She unfortunately went out lame after the 4^th at the Boonah Quilty with Lisa Counsell; then bounced back to place 2^nd Jnr at Cambewarra 80 a month later. Alan then completed 2 x 80kms on her before completing Shahzada 400kms [ the first time she had carried any significant weight…85kgs] . Erika then came =3^rd[of 15 jnrs] at Tingha; Won the Tumut 80kms [2^nd over line] before we took her over to Tasmania babysitting a youngster we sold.   Three days after getting off the boat she placed 5^th in the Tasmanian State Champs carrying Alan. 2007 only saw her compete in one 80 for 10^th with Alan at Wandandian in a large field.  She was entered in the fateful 07 Shahzada.

Riz has been one of our most reliable, sensible endurance horses and always gives her best.  She has been covered by

HESTE ARABIQUE BEGUILING

HESTE ARABIQUE BEGUILING – Born 6/11/2000 Grey 15.2hh predominantly Crabbet

We purchased Beguiling in early 2006 with a view to breeding, unfortunately her first foal for us was stillborn in early 2007 by the lovely Elphyn Comet [on lease to Kintamani by the Mahoneys from Tasmania].  This mare’s first foal was by the Iraki Iskander stallion Saracen Saabil, a splendid tall grey gelding.

Beguiling is presently in foal to our Silver Shadow, anxiously awaited late October 08.

Breeding:

NUNKERI MISHLA

Alan purchased this lovely ¾ polish mare in 1980 and bred several lovely progeny such as Kintamani Mishaela and Raziye by The General; Kintamani Rakad and Kintamani Rad by our Arowana Mamaragan and Kintamani Kane by Kochief.

Mishla was probably one of the best riding mares the stud had the fortune to own and completed quite a number of endurance rides including Sofala in 1984; Pokolbin in 1985; North side 80kms in 1986; and was 4^th outright at the Shahzada in 1986.

This was followed by the birth of her lovely bay colt Kintamani Rakad which had many show championships as a youngster and was purchased by the Mustows of Nowra to stand at stud.  He was broken in and ridden lightly until a nasty accident where he nearly drowned in a creek and his legs were caught under debris.

Rakad now resides in Orange in the same paddock as the old champion K. Fosta with the Macdonald family.
